20 ways to tryout our service:

Note: We currently do not provide proxy support for FTP or Gopher protocols - only HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS protocols.
(1) To get a random selection of proxies that changes every 10 minutes, change your "proxy address" settings to point to tryout.ipwhatever.com and specify port 8123 for HTTP and HTTPS protocols (called "Secure" by Internet Explorer, and called "SSL" by Firefox), and port 9050 for Socks protocol. If using stunnel, connect to port 7123 instead of 8123.
(2) To get a slightly faster random selection of proxies that changes every 15 minutes, change your "proxy address" settings to point to try2hop.ipwhatever.com and specify port 8223 for HTTP and HTTPS/Secure/SSL protocols, and port 9250 for Socks protocol. If using stunnel, connect to port 7223 instead of 8223.
(3) To get a more stable random selection of proxies (using squid instead of polipo as our web accelerator), change your "proxy address" settings to point to trystable.ipwhatever.com and specify port 3128 for HTTP and HTTPS/Secure/SSL protocols, and port 9128 for Socks protocol. If using stunnel, connect to port 7128 instead of 3128.
(4) To get the Top 30 fastest proxies, set your proxy address to trytop30.ipwhatever.com and specify port 8230 for HTTP and HTTPS/Secure/SSL protocols, and port 9230 for Socks protocol. If using stunnel, connect to port 7230 instead of 8230.
(5) To get a selection of proxies that are only in the USA, change your "proxy address" settings to point to us.ipwhatever.com and specify port 8125 for HTTP and HTTPS/Secure/SSL protocols, and port 9065 for Socks protocols. If using stunnel, connect to port 7125 instead of 8125.

We ask that you limit your tryouts to 1 hour per day. Excess usage by non-subscribers may result in being blacklisted - either temporarily or permanently. We take down and restart all of these proxy services every few hours. These tryouts are built on top of the latest open source Tor™ software running on our server, and to make your experience faster we use one or more Web accelerators, such as polipo, squid, DeleGate or Sun Java System Web Proxy Server. Please see our Privacy Statement.
